2026 AI Educator Summer Institute

Dr. Haiqing Kaczkowski is an Engineering Instructor at the SCGSSM, where she connects engineering principles to real-world applications. With more than 35 years of combined experience in education and industry, she has observed first-hand how emerging technologies—especially computer modeling and simulation—have transformed engineering practices. Dr. Haiqing earned her doctorate in coastal engineering from Tianjin University in China and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Florida. Through the AI Faculty Fellows program, her work focuses on helping students and educators use AI and data science responsibly, ethically, and effectively in the exploration and study of engineering and technology.
